The morning after – Engadget

Bang & Olufsen’s audio equipment almost always comes with prohibitive price tags, so I’m not too shocked by the MSRP of $ 2,000 on its new portable speaker. It also looks stylish, timeless, and looks surprisingly functional.

You can move the Beosound level from a wall bracket (sold separately) to an outdoor side table. It even comes with its own magnetic MagSafe-style charging washer. Inside, a set of five speakers – including two four-inch woofers, a two-inch full-range speaker, two 0.8-inch tweeters, and low-distortion amps – handle all of your audio content.

It comes with a replaceable streaming module that will further power the company’s future home speakers. Bang & Olufsen says the module has “enough processing power and connectivity technology” to accommodate updates to improve performance and new features in the future. The company also claims that the “modular” design of the speaker allows customers to perform easy maintenance tasks, such as replacing the battery, and gives service partners better access to key components. I can’t guarantee how future-proof it really is, and yes it’s still a $ 2000- $ 2300 speaker if you want the gold option. Still, I want it a little.

The Electric Hummer and Lyriq make appearances.

Will Ferrell, who finds out that Norway is far ahead of the United States in electric vehicle adoption, is the star of General Motors' big game ad. In the commercial, "No Way, Norway," Kenan Thompson and Awkwafina join Ferrell on his action-packed journey to give Norwegians peace of mind.

In GM’s Super Bowl Commercial, Will Ferrell has made it so far with these smug Norwegians and their electric vehicle buying habits. A humorous attempt to fight them casually highlights the company’s plan to release more electric vehicles over the next several years.

How far is it exactly?

If you believe CNBC anonymous sources, a car deal between Hyundai / Kia and Apple could be around the corner. Similar to previous rumors, people in the know suggest that Apple wants to partner with an automaker for its electric vehicle platform, with Apple’s Project Titan team designing most of the hardware and software. .

All indications are that they could have the first electric vehicles ready for deployment by 2024, and the design will focus on a fully autonomous driverless experience.

A virtual receptionist is just the start.

Zoom

Zoom’s latest update helps you minimize contact with others in meeting rooms and beyond. It starts at the front desk – a kiosk mode allows a virtual receptionist to greet you from a Zoom Rooms for Touch device.

You can also view meeting room occupancy in the Zoom dashboard with compatible cameras and check a room’s air quality (after an upgrade on February 11) with a Neat Sense monitor. to make sure it is well ventilated. You also won’t have to touch shared surfaces as often. You can use the Zoom Rooms Controller app to run a meeting on your phone rather than using a shared controller. Rooms for Touch users can also control the desktop of the person currently sharing their screen. A future upgrade will also bring more support for hands-free voice commands, including Alexa commands.

PlayStation had its best quarter in history.

PS5

Sony never seemed to have enough PlayStation 5 stock since its launch, but still managed to sell 4.5 million consoles in 2020, which matches the sales of PS4 in the console’s launch quarter in 2020. 2013. Profits also increased 50% to 80.2 billion yen ($ 763 million), due to the increase in game sales amounting to 484 billion yen ($ 4.6 billion) , which actually doubled the 240 billion yen ($ 2.3 billion) in hardware sales.

That’s good, because Sony loses money on every new PS5 it sells because it set “strategic prices for PS5 hardware that were … lower than manufacturing costs.” The business plan for a game console remains the same: to make money by selling games and services after building a suitable installed base.

Improved autofocus and 4K 60p video, but it’s not a Sony A7R IV.

Nikon z7 ii

The Nikon Z7 II, as the name suggests, isn’t quite revolutionary, but it does bring some exciting new features over the original Z7 like 4K 60fps video, improved autofocus, and double card slots. It also offers some of the best image quality you can find in a high resolution full frame mirrorless camera. However, it lags behind the competition. Given that the $ 3,000 Z7 II sits at the lower end of the price scale for high-resolution full-frame mirrorless cameras, however, it’s a good buy if budget is an issue.
