SSL’s UF8 gives your virtual music studio physical controls

At this point, it’s normal for almost all studio work to take place on a computer. But it is undeniable that having a physical mixer is more satisfying and intuitive than a mouse and keyboard. A controller capable of bridging this gap is therefore always welcome. Solid State Logic UF8 gives you immediate access to eight tracks in your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) of your choice – whether Ableton, Pro Tools or Logic complete with high resolution faders to control your volume levels.

Beyond volume, there are versatile encoders for each channel to fine-tune send, pan, and EQ parameters. You can even use the mouse scroll emulation to control the settings you have highlighted. Each channel also has a color display to give you immediate feedback. That might not completely remove the need to look at your computer screen, but at least basic mixing tasks should be accessible without touching your PC.
