LG is slowly starting to roll out 2021 4K OLED and LCD TVs

LG officially retired its 2021 TV lineup last month at the CES 2021 virtual event, and now the company is announcing the start of their global deployment. This includes its new top of the line LCD range of QNED 4K and 8K televisions which combine quantum dot technology with Mini LED backlighting and an interesting set of OLED options for the New Year.

In the top of the range of its OLED televisions, the The G1 series includes evo OLED panel technology which should have better brightness and whites than what we’ve seen before, while its main C1 line includes options ranging from 48 to 83 inches. For many people, however, the most interesting things are at the low end, where B1 and A1 options could make OLED TVs available from lower prices than ever before.

We still don’t have full details on these cheaper TVs, but every TV in its 2021 lineup, including the A1, includes eARC and ALLM features, even though they don’t have HDMI 2.1. We also have a photo of the A1 that we haven’t had before (see above), so if you’re planning on purchasing one, make sure you have room for the wide spacing on its mount. .

The first 2021 LG OLED and LCD TVs will roll out this quarter, although when and where are still not announced. The question of how much any of these will cost remains unanswered for U.S. buyers, although LG has announced pricing on some models in Germany.

Flat panels HD points out that the C1 and G1 models are expected to roll out in April, with the A1 range shipping later. The price in Europe for a 55-inch C1 and G1 is set at € 2,000 and € 2,400 respectively. These turn into $ 2,420 and $ 2,914, but US prices will certainly be lower. What is perhaps more remarkable is that the prices are 200 € and 100 € higher than those of the beginning of similar 2020 models, although we will have to wait for an official MSRP to find out what happens when these models arrive. in the USA.
