Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the Discord navigation menu at the bottom of the screen.
2nd step: In the “Application settings” section, tap “Text and images”.
Step 3: Tap the toggle to the right of “Automatically play GIFs when possible.” to prevent automatic GIF animation when using Discord.
