How the Suez Canal fiasco could change global shipping

Last week the cargo Never given got stuck in the Suez Canal for six days. The blockage completely disrupted maritime trade routes, gained worldwide attention, and became the topic of many online lulz. But even if the ship has been freed, the repercussions will be felt for months to come.

This week, Aarian Marshall, WIRED Transportation Writer, joins Never given got stuck and how the shipping industry could prevent this kind of absurd disaster in the future.
