Glassdoor publishes lists of the best places to work in 2021


Fewer tech companies have appeared on Best places to work in 2021 list of Glass door, a provider of job and business information, but some of the better-known names on the list have seen their rankings rebound.

Glassdoor has over 70 million reviews and information on over 1.3 million businesses, and has over 50 million unique users every month. It has some 12,000 employer clients.

The average CEO rating on the platform is 72% and the average company rating is 3.5 out of five, with 76% of employees saying they are “OK” or “satisfied” with their job and company.

Glassdoor has published its lists of 100 best companies to work for in the United States (1,000 or more employees) and 50 Best Small and Medium Businesses (less than 1,000), ranking them on a five-point scale based on anonymous employee reviews.

Bain & Co. led the top 100, reclaiming the title from HubSpot. There were 28 tech companies on the list, up from 31 on the 2020 list, and Glassdoor has found significant ranking gains by Apple (+53 spots), Salesforce (17), Facebook (12) and Google (five ).
